Kyoto Animation’s latest anime may really be the fujoshi favourite so many were fearing – their newly announced mystery reveal shows off a silhouette many cannot help but see as that of a pair of sleek young men in swimming trunks and towels…
The formal announcement is due on the 26th – KyoAni apparently being no fools, no giveaway clues have so far been found in their site, meaning hungry fujoshi have a short wait ahead of them:

Also, the author said not so long ago they were working on an anime or something like that.
Kyoani said too they were still interesting in working on the FMP! franchise but didn't have time untill now.
Maybe the Chuunibyou specials were just they testing their CG animation. And Mecha Animation skills.

"Final"? Don't kid yourself into thinking they'd suddenly start doing an 51ep series, because that's the least it would take to get the remaining 7 (out of 12) novels adapted to anime. Remember: 5novels = 37ep
Then there's the side stories. About 10 novels ongoing.
Also... the rest of the series is a little bit too serious for anime, I'd imagine. With all those characters dying and Chidori being kidnapped by Tessas idiot of a brother. After a normal season Chidori would still be kidnapped and nothing resolved.. way to piss everybody off.
I may a minority here, but I'd rather have another have another Fumoffu series.
kyoani adapting an action series was an accident in the first place, now they forgot all about it.
That guys in swimming trunks anime looks hilarious because their movements look so feminine.
I hope this is true. It'll be nice to have something a bit different from them.

Fujoshi aren't going to be as profitable as moebros. I can only hope this fails if they go through with it. If it doesn't, oh well. I'll just move to watching Fist of The North Star a couple of times over. Kenshiro is moe enough for me.

Why is everyone complaining about moe anime for already 5 years or more? Because moebros in Japan spend all their money on that stuff and more and more series get produced.
There aren't many people who are that insane to purchase japanese DVDs which usually come with an extremly high price.
Fujoshi are centered around the manga market. Sure there is potential. But I don't think Kyoani is going to tap into that. Actually they should have opened another studio which does those and make a name out of that.
Rather than have people complain and want to censor fanservice and pandering, I'd rather just even the playing field. So instead of complaining about about the objectification or women, just objectify both sexes and make everybody perverts lol.
You haven't gone to Japan aren't you ? In Japan there are already lots of objectification of men. They have both the market ( for men and women ) - Insert equality again -_-*
The only instances where I would agree it's equally done is when it comes to maid/butler cafes and cross dressing (I guess women seem to like those shows where they try to make the girliest looking guys possible), otherwise while there is a lot of male objectifying happening by women compared to most countries, it's not always the case.. especially in anime.
Actually men are objectified just as often as women as is, there just aren't any mens special interest groups bitching about it the way women do.
If women have been getting their ecchi anime as much as men have, then why is there such an outcry from them for this anime to happen? I personally don't think the playing field is even in some cases yet, such as sexuality in anime.

Because the usual KyoAni audience isn't into BL. I bet you wouldn't be pleased either if your favorite mangaka decided abandon his regular style in favor of something you are completely disinterested in.

Especially when in most cases these days, menand women alike do it on their own free well.
In Japan they have this freedom of expression thing, they just produce whatever they fuck people want and when somon points out how gross it is they just politely accept it and ignore it.
It probably helps that over there it seem like the ridiculous and factualy wrong concept of something being bad, or offensive, or objectifying, or dangerous or a threat to soceity that should be banned isn't such a big thing.
They don't confuse drawings of violence with real people beign shot or drawings of rape with real assholes being wrecked or pictures of hot people with real people being objectified.
Even loli bans failed.
The playing field is even because everyone has the same opportunities to produce whatever lewd or gross shit they want, no one is being stopped, everyone's needs are being met as long as the holy supply and demand deems so worthy.
