Looks closer? Except for Kuroneko's scene in the gaming club (which had most of Sena's part cut), basically everything in the chapter was non-canon.
Not saying it won't be faithful, but in the first chapter almost nothing was.
It felt like a recap episode to me. "In case you're watching Oreimo for the first time, this is how the characters normally behave", which is sort of a luxury, considering that they're trying to cram the rest of the material into 16 episodes.
I'm not excited that OreImo is getting another season, I'm excited that OreImo is getting more ero doujins.

Well, I'm an Ayase fan, and I'm glad that she got some screen time here. She has the warmest and most enticing smile to go along with the sweetest voice. Sigh.
Having said that, Kuroneko looked appealing while typing (and ignoring Kyou). Not sure what it is yet but the artwork feels a little bit different than what I recall of episode one. In a good way, though.
Ayase is a poisoned apple. Behind that charming smile is a soul as black as sin.

Problem is, i don't like Kirino because she's an asshole. Just like how the guy is a whimpy douchebag. So yeah, they fir their stereotypes and as such they are horribly unsuited as main characters. It's just one of these shows that solely live from the support characters.
