Yes you are crazy lol, the only difference is an extra layer of detail in Blue version , which in the tv version seems not to have a purpose!
It was the time where DVD versions possessed more scenes or a different ending, today is just a makeup with higher fps.
It is ridiculous to consider nekomonogatari sexy, with the exception of Hanekawa panties ..
Even the scenes with the sisters was unfunny, that was the high point in bake..
Some are better, some are worse. I'm not sure I would have wasted production time making such minor changes.
You would, if it was something you are idiosyncratically sensitive to. Besides, as I see it, they are often making redundant variants and trying to piece it together in a way that they are the least bored with at a given moment.

I'm so glad he told us which is BD, because I could never tell. For a while, the ones on the left would seem cleaner, more detailed, then it seemed to flip. I was always so confused, wondering which things they changed, as many of them would be better on one side, then later, the other. Very, very inconsistent and confusing, so I'm glad he told us this time. However, it STILL seems to be flipping as the right-hand images in a bunch of the shots look better, so... I don't fucking know.
It may well be that the blue-ray side shows the extra variants of frames used to smoothen the animation at times, so that they don't really have counterparts in the tv version. The neighboring frames might be matching the tv ones.
Also, the black blood, being less realistic and therefore perhaps less objectionable for tv audiences might be an idea that actually came later than the stuff that made it to the disk. And so on.
And of course, there is always the dilemma of quality lying in being the more 'warts and all', or the more appealing. I'd be glad if they were always going with the latter, but it's their artistic freedom to weigh it up themselves.
