How is Hayami Saori a rookie? She's been around since forever.
it's the amount of roles she's been given in a year in proportion to how long she's been around the industry.

So people actually likes to listen to that horrible voice?
I'm a little surprised to see some names there. While I adore Saori Hayami's Ayase, I think she has enough roles over enough time that she shouldn't be considered up and coming.
I was about to be disappointed in not seeing Nibutani Shinka's seiyuu here, despite seeing Rikka's and Dekomori's. While substantial, hers was really a minor role and her performance was critical in making that show enjoyable. Then when I went to find out her name, I discovered that I'm not alone in appreciating her, as she also voice Chiwa, and thus has the top spot overall. While I'm not a great fan of Chiwa, I've often felt that her seiyuu was doing a great job with the part. Glad to see Kuroyukihime there as well. She made a weak show enjoyable.

Those fools, Hayami Saori isn't a rookie anymore. She's still one of the best though especially in singing.
Those fools are even bigger fools for not including true rookies like Morohoshi Sumire and Kayano Ai. They've been snapping up more roles lately and are definitely rising.

Is there a more level-headed anime fansite or community in Japan where they don't try to look at things with bias, like having only moe on the mind, and instead decide these things more critically? I'd expect there to be more variety of characters here, some male and some older characters at least. Every single list is always full of moe...

Which exactly, the seiyuu themselves or the characters listed? If it's the latter, I won't say that Kirara is 'loli', that's for sure...
Maaya Uchida is a rookie? Funny, I thought I've seen her name in some other anime before. Maybe I'm wrong though...

Chika Arakawa is quite promising, I love Kirara's voice.
Sachika Misawa is quite good too, more interested in hearing some less kid-like voices since we heard it a little in Saki and Accel.
I'd also nominate Natsumi Takamori, who plays Misaki Kamiigusa in The Pet Girl of Sakura Hall. Very cute, lots of energy, but able to be serious when necessary.
I'd have to down vote that. All she does is yell (except the occasional time she's depressed, when she'll murmur, "Hey, kouhai-kun….")
But to each their own.
One seiyuu is pretty much like another. It is only the roles that they get that are special.
There's no way my fellow Sankaku commenter can be this shallow!
