As a matter of fact, PPG is quite a popular cartoon in Japan, as well. Why do you think it got its anime version in the first place…? It is a big hit there, perhaps evenmore than it was on continents like South America and Europe. Therefore, yes, it makes total sense for it to get its choco-portion.
