Comment on AKB48′s Minami Takahashi: “Why Can’t We Have Lovers!?” by Lillymon:
No, that’s an “entitlement”. Imyou was quite clear, rights are things you have a right to do, entitlements are things other people have an obligation to do for you. There are many situations where you have a right to do something but no one else is obligated to help you.

What? I mean… what? Seriously… I don’t even… I… what? What is this shit? Really. Just… what the hell is going on?
- Nene Smashing Wedding “Amounts To Bullying The Groom”:
Okay, I’ve finally figured out what creeps me out so much about this story. If they’d made this decision together and then did it, fine. New chapter in your life and all that. If she’d just sprung it on him, well that’s just mean. Property destruction aside, this isn’t what you expect on your wedding day. But no, the bride symbolically humanized Nene by inviting her and having a seat set aside for her, so it’s like “Look! It’s your ex-girlfriend, Nene! I invited her to our wedding! So we can …

That’s pretty crazy. Nausicaa, Totoro, and Castle in the Sky make the top 10 while The Castle of Cagliostro tops the list, but Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are nowhere to be found? What happened?
- Tales Studio Near Bankruptcy – Tales Series Doomed?:
I actually sorta like the Tales series, but I am among those people Namco seem to consider ‘untouchable’. Yes, I live in Europe. I might’ve bought some, but the Xbox 360/PS3 controversy for Tales of Vesperia is pretty much moot for me as I own neither console and don’t have the funds necessary to buy either before 2011. Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube is too old, Tales of Phantasia for the GBA was a laughable effort, and there’s nothing else I can even think of right now that’s available to …
- School Bans Skirts – “They Put Girls at Risk”:
Utterly ridiculous. His comments reminds me of that Muslim cleric a while back who compared women showing any sort of skin who get raped to meat left outside getting eaten by cats, simultaneously objectifying women and implying he thinks men are purely driven by animal urges and will instinctively rape any scantily-clad women. This is Paedo Panic for you. In the last couple of decades, the entire nation of Britain seems to have lost all trust we have for each other. Everyone suspects everyone …
