Fifty cents worth that the "new" Japanese Government forced the organiser's hands to this. C83 was held when DPJ is in power, C84 is held at the time Tokyo is under LDP rule (Shinzo Abe holds PM post since November last year and his party generally is supportive of anime industry, unlike the stupid Shintaro Ishihara who left to form his own party.)

I think it would actually be fun to permanently force-ban fujoshis out of comiket. It bugged me the first time around, because I hate that kind of thing in general, but now I just think it would be fun to watch those organizers squirm ^^

More threats will happen for this summer's Comiket, certain circles will be banned, and the cycle will repeat until Comiket is forced to shut down permanently. Once one person (or group) gets away with it, others will be swift to hop on the bandwagon and join in.

I predict that Comiket will cease to be in less than 5 years.
