I do not care to classify myself as any type of gamer other then a gamer.

I have over 600 games.

I play most every genre.

I don’t care what console a game is on.

I play any game that looks like fun.

I simply love games.

An example, I bought Chivalry on Steam and I plan to buy the new Simcity when it comes out in march. I’m going to buy dishonored when I have enough money to buy it. I bought Sleeping dogs because it’s on sale. I play Airmech because it’s fun and different. I play Skyrim because it’s open ended. I play Empire : Total War because you have to think to play it. I play Torchlight 2 because I like a good hack and slash. I play Xcom :UFO Defense because I like an old school turn based strategy game. I play Baldurs gate 2 because it’s the best game ever.

In my opinion you’re not a “Gamer” unless you can play everything and have been doing so for atleast 25 years.

  Most of the people in japan do not use PCs to play games. Actually the gaming industry in japan goes to great lengths to stop PCs from getting any good games.

  I don’t care much for CoD, But calling it mindless shooting is a bit inaccurate. CoD is incredibly fast paced and requires players to pay attention to everything around them at all times. Acquiring targets quickly and making shots count takes alot of practice. Keen hand eye coordination and the ability to instinctively react to situations that pop up out of nowhere takes time and dedication to develop. I do agree the gameplay seems rather repetitive to anyone who doesn’t play the game …
