Too far down the uncanny valley for me. I’ve been hoping they’d put out DLC to fix the faces and unmottle their skin, but they haven’t, so I’m not touching it – I already have DoA games where they haven’t screwed up the fighting mechanics.

I played Evil Zone/Eretzvaju, but it didn’t make much of an impression on me when it was new… Actually I think I found it pretty bad, but maybe I’m confusing it with Gowcaizer… either way, I only rented it.

Thanks. I agree DoA2 was the peak. You don’t need 6 attack buttons and an intricate combo system to make a solid fighting game – I played DoA2 with friends for years and we still encountered new animations and scenarios sometimes when attacking sides/backs. It was actually better than most modern fighters since it was about the exchange of blows, blocks, throws and counters rather than who can get the first hit off to chain into a 50 hit combo for half the match – that’s just recitation. Sad to …

Gal Gun 2 is coming out in English, and you run around a school squirting girls with your “pheromone gun”

I thought the fighting Inklings were supposed to be kids and the Squid Sisters were adults? They look like kids here… C’mon, Nintendo! You made whatever Candy Kong ver. 2 was… Even just in concert, they should have done them like “taka-michi” does.

I wish this site gave notifications for replies, because you’ll never see this. YES. All the Ranma 1/2 music and FMA. I listened to almost all the Slayers music in the 90s and pretty much memorized the lyrics before I knew Japanese well. I also liked the Rurouni Kenshin soundtrack, and it’s not that surprising the same Noriyuki Asakura did the music in Tenchu: Stealth Assasins. It had a feeling that could have blended into the margins of Kenshin too I think.

Yeah, it’s a fun manga – I’ve imported and read the first 4 books. Funny that while both authors seem to love doing porn, at best this one gets a bit suggestive or puts girls in various costumes. I don’t think there’s any actual nudity in the series yet (maybe a butt somewhere?) But, it’s good soft yuri and girls vs big robots. Fans of the old Nuku Nuku OAV should like it.

Unrelated, really. The taller girl is a full-body cyborg because of a childhood disease she had, which is rare because it’s really hard for people to get used to cyber parts. The shorter girl is an illegal combat android from a mad scientist sort, who can share time-limited android superpowers with the other girl when fingered in her crotch/belly port. The human (Nene) seems totally oblivious her friend (Clarion) is an android though and cuddles her incessantly because she’s cute.
