Welp, seeing as how the Manabi Line's around 3000-4000 sales for an anime to break even it'd mean KMB vol 1 should've sold for approx 30-40k'ish JPY, so roughly the same price as a Fate/Zero blu-ray box set full of extras. Why're you asking?

Actually, if only this show used Agiri-san (and probably that unused character voiced by Rie Kugiyama) more, it could have been better.

It will look bad if you only look at the bad side of it... For me it's a good way to get at-the-moment local news faster than anywhere else, share interests by building a network around it, and yes, why not to keep in touch with friends who use Twitter? Social networks is all about what your friends are using. Provided that I don't use as much anymore since most people I know switched completely to Facebook... I like to add friends to let them know I'm there if they need me, even if we've not spoken in years. Specially people who are living a bit far. The only thing I don't understand are all those complaints about too many friends, certain types of small talk, or certain pictures. It's easy enough to avoid them, and if you don't think it's worth easy enough to close your account. But just because it doesn't work for you, doesn't mean it's useless for everyone, and everyone must be stalkers or whatever. Perhaps it's just you who don't know how to use it.

The show was totally degraded in production. If it would be done by other studious, it might be better. As it is, it's like Nichijou rip-off only much worse.

I'm gonna be killed on the comments for this, but whatever... I never read replies anyways.
Truth is, I kinda liked it.
Ok, it wasn't comedy gold, and the only reason I watched it was because I loved the yonkoma... I also think the adaptation could've been much better. I know I had my share of disappointments while watching it.
But I kept watching it because of Agiri-san. Despite the anime having lots of boring moments and not a very good comedy, I always had a laugh for some reason when Agiri showed up. One of those cases of a secondary character stealing the entire show.
That or for some reason the character really really works for me.
Also, some may disagree, but I think what most people hated about it was wasted potential... it was disappointing for fans of the manga, which was plenty fun for me.
Yasuna became a bit too irritating, and Sonya didn't develop well...
Perhaps another studio could've turned this into comedy gold.
But oh well, here's my confession.

But whats the point of taking pictures of your food or telling everyone you hate Mondays, or poking? Constantly checking for updates just to be sure you don't miss anything. Having 100+ friends when probably you only speak to just a handful of them. Adding people just to "keep in touch" when you probably won't speak to them in days, months, or even years. In my view, it just seems like people just want to know what everyone is doing at all times, which is stalking.
