Comment on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Quite Spectacular by Anonymous:

The graphics were really good…. up to about 10 feet out from your character. Their version of “level of detail” was a solid, visible line beyond which all textures looked like garbage. You could see a building that looks half good and half crap if you look at it sideways. Then you could take a few steps forward and watch the magic not-crap line slide forward.

I love HuniePop. In a world of overblown triple A titles that cost a fortune, this was the first game I actually enjoyed playing in a long time. Also, it’s one of the only games I have even bothered to complete. Hilariously, the sex mini-game is actually the worst part of the game.

I once read a story about two Japanese guys working at a company who were very close friends, until the older one stabbed the younger one to death with an umbrella for not addressing him respectfully as an elder. Likely a rare case, but I guess it shows that anybody can snap for stupid fucking reasons.

Disagree because people don’t always have control over their environments. They can only decide how to react to environmental circumstances.

I don’t think it’s necessarily greed. Some people define their lives via their work. So they don’t mind losing their lives for their work. I do agree that you shouldn’t push yourself that far if you can avoid it. Life isn’t something you can easily get back after you lose it.
