Hopefully its good.

Played ff11 for 6 years. It had its flaws, but overall it was a great game that required *way* more skill than any other MMO i’ve ever played before or after it.

Played ff14 for less than a month; it was complete garbage. From day 1 it was full of bots and was buggy as hell. And all the bad aspects of ff11 were magnified ten-fold.

At this point i kind of hope they cater it slightly towards the more casual crowd. FF11 for example was about as hardcore as you can get (way more than those kids that complain about vanilla wow raids) Personally i’m too old now to get into a hardcore MMO anymore.

    @Anon 18:57: people already hated that they couldn’t play all of their old games on the PS3, yet the system sold plenty. And there are more than enough people who bought old games via PSN. It will be the same with the PS4 :/ Either you keep your old hardware for older games, buy the same stuff for the new console or forsake those games…

    Your metaphor is completely inaccurate. If you have to use the (tired) car analogy, you’re talking about a well tuned monster truck versus a well tuned sports car.     Post is incorrect. Stock surge is due to inclusion of blu-ray. Gamers can be narrow minded quite often. Xbox and playstation are just divisions in much larger companies.
