Toyota has the right gimmicks but it’s too big for the target audience: a young jap in the metro.

A car sized like that are unbelievably taxed and expensive to keep around. A proper size class for a young jap would be the Kei-class. Clear benefit of Kei-class cars is they’re affordable and exempted from limits of owning regular sized cars.

  I won’t be surprised if: 1) Koreans pick up Aku no Hana to make a live action drama in the near future. Korean adaptation = mass commercial success of the franchise in the whole East Asia. 2) Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim salvages the rotorscoped anime version of Aku no Hana. It may be a dud in Japan… but some semblance of recognition in North America will make it a commercial success.

• New To Love-Ru Darkness Anime = OVA:
  

  Looks like the rate of anime-fication of this franchise is in risk of “overruning” the “source material”. There all have 3 choices to go through: – OAD: only the best chp in manga gets animated. OAD material is an add-on when you buy a volume-sized manga. – OVA – continue anime-fication for TV and just add fillers… as seen in Ranma 1/2 ~20 yrs ago and Naruto/Bleach lately.
