This time it is seiyuu fans who have rendered their verdict on 2012 – specifically on which of the latest crop of seiyuu have made the most progress since their arrival, with the top spot unsurprisingly going to the rookie whose performance did so much for the ascent of Sword Art Online to hit franchise status…

Chinatsu did a great job with Yasuna and Mori Summer. I have begun to like her voice.
She makes Yasuna come alive in Kill me baby. IMHO show wouldn't have been as funny if someone else voiced her.
I think Sumire Uekasa deserves a spot. Her voice as Dekomori from chuu2 was outstanding, and her Sora voice from papakiki was spot on. Since both voices are kinda contrasting too (one's hyper one's kinda reserved), she shows that she can do more than just one type of voice.
Just my two cents though

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Before he played Kirito he mostly unknown to some fans, though he do voiced some minor characters in Mouretsu Pirates, he really made his major rules debuts on Kirito, followed by Godou. He is indeed quite good in term of voicing Male Character.
Maaya Uchida, My personal Favorite. Compared to other Seiyuu she can be considered as new comer, She voiced several minor characters for the majority of 2010 and 2011. However recently she started to gain more popularity and started to voice some of main characters/heroine in the anime aired on 2012. Her first major role is probably Rea from anime adaptation of Sankarea and her other major role is Takanashi Rikka from Chunibyou. She possess unique voice that is hard to identify (even I can't really identify character voiced by her and pretty much surprised when I realized that Rikka is voiced by her) and she is also shown to be able to sing just like most of professional Seiyuu/VA (anyone who heard Heroic Lily would understand). Perhaps we are slowly witnessing legend in the making...
Crappy list. Where's Ibuki Kido from Oniichan Dakedo sure the show wasn't that great but that young seiyuu put in one heck of a performance as the perverted sister.

I gotta say i'm most impressed by the one who voiced misaki from sakurasou. Shes got some crazy fast and super hyper borderline batshit insane dialogue.

Well technically she's not that new, she started getting popular in 2011.

She's nowhere as good as these seiyuu.
Kaori Ishihara is popular because she has a very similar voice to veteran Kaori Mizuhashi. She's a good actor, but I think part of her popularity is the voice which is similar to Mizuhashi's and Mizuhashi's voice is very distinct and unique.
Too bad that Yui Ogura wasn't there on the list. I wonder if she's more popular than Kaori Ishihara?
For that same reason they made her voice Laharl's "younger sister" in Disgaea D2.
