So? Akimoto doesn’t decide the ace, fans do. Shit I　remember him telling us that Oku Manami was the next ace of AKB….did it happen? No. Akimoto can smell the end and he’s desperately trying to create a new star because he hasn’t created one since Rena and Jurina Matsui over 3 years ago and because AKB’s sales have been gradually decreasing since Manatsu.
