  Yeah. Late 90s, there were a few prepainted figures, but often cheap in price and appearance. They were sort of like upscale action figures. I figured with the flying hair, they might have had to use something stiffer than PVC and maybe make it plug into her head so it’d keep the right shape in shipping. Either way, it’s awesome that you don’t have to be a master artist to have a figure like this now.

  Forgive my ignorance – I’m from the past… Some of those parts look pretty breakable – how would you receive a figure like that? Fully assembled? Mostly assembled with a few slot-in pieces? In the 90s, a figure like that would be made of brittle resin, cost 2-3x as much, and come in a bunch of unpainted pieces you’d have to sand seams off of, glue together, prime, and paint yourself…

  @2:45 Oh hey, I’m a bandwagoner who only played 7… (Ok, I also played 1, 5, 6, and 8, but not for long. After 7 I had the most fun with 5.) Maybe rather than ignoring 7 or spinning off pointless side stories, they should take a hard look at what about that title sparked such a wave of FF fans? Because I’ve tried to like other games in the series, but to me it felt like a one hit wonder. The action games they published in 1997-2000 were way better than the other FF games.
