Comment on Tamaki Kousaka Konotama Ero-Figure by HouseLife:

I don’t know, there’s nothing bad about this, but something seems off. I don’t feel like this is the character somehow. Like her eyes are missing something. For lack of a better description, it’s almost like this figure was created to be a sex object rather than represent the built up sensuality of the character it’s supposed to be or something…

Nice on its own, just… it’s not her.

@Naoe That bed sheet looks more like her than this figure. It still feels a tiny bit off, but that’s stylistic in nature. Her eyes in that picture look like hers and feel like hers.

That too is wrong. Fate/Stay Night told a superb story as a visual novel. Trying to pretend that just because they have images of the characters it can’t be a deeper plot has been proven repeatedly to be incorrect. If you are saying you intentionally want bland, then that’s why they get away with it. I like cute girls, but it’s so empty and pointless. Have they actually done anything in all these games that makes a contiguous world where the games have anything to do with each other and grown …

Here’s my problem. People allowing forgiveness for something that has nothing to do with studio size and thinking that being a small studio is forgivable for pointless storyline and laziness. Moe can exist alongside creativity and amusement. Don’t foolishly think it’s either Indy or Witcher 3, that’s not reality. You can make it better than that and it really takes not much effort for even a partially decent professional writer. I could have even woken up from a 2 hour night sleep and written …

  • Final Fantasy XV Pre-Order DLC Previewed:
Not yet. Still the best companies recognize the base game must be solid, and the DLC is just peripheral. Tales games are all outfits. Mass Effect’s DLC for example is something I more than was happy to purchase for $14.99, I never thought I’d say that, but its Citadel DLC was not a core part of the main game in any form, it was entirely a filler arc, but was the funniest shit I’ve ever seen, using every running gag formed in the entire trilogy brilliantly. That shit deserves my money any day.

So legitimate question. Are these really at all decent? And I don’t mean cute girls or anything like that, I played the first one and platinumed it just because I do that. But it was essentially a chore by the end rather than an accomplishment. Compile Hearts games have by and large seemed barren of creativity or purpose. I can understand treating them as sort of visual novel with gameplay possibly for enjoyment, but have they sincerely and objectively become games with at least decent plots …

  • Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Massacred by Censors:
People who blurt the term SJW for everything are starting to piss me off as much as the people who fit the stereotype that term has been overused to represent. Let me spell it out, nothing has changed in the past 10 years in this regard. They censored it because of the rating it could have due to bare breasts being suggestively put in place for a teen based game. Whether you agree or not, blaming a useless acronym is just laziness and stupidity, the same level of laziness and stupidity that the …
