Actually the music that is so very popular can’t really be called poor quality, they have to be doing something right if they manage to make metric fuck tons of money off of it. Don’t get me wrong I can’t stand pop music and think only sheep would like the stuff, the makers of this stuff just happen to have found the magic formula that gets as many people to like it as possible.

Kind of like how World of Warcraft owned the MMO genre for so long. Despite it being so damn generic to anyone who didn’t like it, they managed to find the right combination that sucked in as many people as possible.

It makes sense if you look at it with the right logic.

SquareEnix had a pretty good stranglehold on the game market for so long that it really lowered the chances of small independent companies from stepping up.
