the thing that bugs is that not a long time ago, like fifteen years back, this prerogative was not true. we had natalie imbruglia, 10 thousand maniacs, alanis morisette, cardigans, etc. how the overall level of mainstream music decreased so much and so fast??? either way, I think this is pretty sad.
