I see the list, and not being of the Japanese persuasion I have never heard any of these. I head over to the Youtube and sample the ’48s artistry and quite frankly am underwhelmed. Cookie cutter crap stamped out by the yard with vocally indistinguishable performances and singularly unimpressive dancing.

If a Japaneser ever accuses me of bad taste all I need to do to refute them is the magic number 48.
