We see a lot of fear thrust toward the Yakuza in the West, but it’s far too integrated in society now to do anything about it without threatening the entire peace of the country. It was partially the police’s fault for not being able to stop them before they got so big, but I can’t blame them for not being able to do much about more than a few thug yakuza dropouts now…
