“Forte” reminds me of the very passable Mayumi Yamaguchi.

The other issue though is that the VAs that stand out more through their awesome singing, examples of which could be Minoru Chihara, Nana Mizuki or Rieka Yazawa, weren’t being considered either. Not that Rie Tanaka or Yukana are bad at this, though.

  Whether a seiyuu’s doing one or multiple role is fine though. What’s not, is the people who berated them as if they have absolute authority over the seiyuu. Positive, building comments are one thing but what I see here are mostly deconstructing jeers a.k.a flaming. Don’t go forcing ideas on others when you never even stepped into their shoes, people.

  Specialization doesn’t mean you only do one thing. As specialized as modern society has become, we all wear many hats. To be clear, it doesn’t make her bad at all. But I do think it limits her reach to outside the top 10.
