Defeat the fearful and the offended with playfulness and humor.

That is why you can never win with negativity.

Everything negative leads to something positive on a long enough timeline. Being able to laugh at a situation without laughing at misfortune is that which causes humanity to transcend its weaknesses and bring knowledge and light into ignorance and darkness.

Treating darkness with the respect (or lack thereof) that it deserves is what causes people to have the ability to move on.

@ Anon 3:10 As I said, with the respect it deserves, or lack thereof. As in none. You respect your enemy only so much as you need to defeat him really. @ Anon 17:49 Which result would you like? That I love my life, my family, and have a meaningful relationship with all those close to me, or that I’m in a successful job making a good amount of money? People like yourself only judge on those things anyway. The only reason I said what I said is because I live that way, so… well there ya go.

The experiences are stronger in many ways however. The reality is what you experienced in your formative years as a teenager on SNES and NES and all that will not happen again. There was a bit more imagination necessary with the worlds because voices were put to the characters in your head, and the scenes had to be pictured. But put simply, I love being able to see what directors, animators, and creators can create that I would never have imagined. I know what I would envision, that’s why I …

Mass Effect, Spec Ops: The Line, Witcher… just look a bit and take your head out of your ass basically and you’ll find great things. I’ve said it before, if you go into a world, whether it be a game or an anime, with an expectation, all it will be is ruined. Start by going in with the intention of having fun, and you’ll basically reach a point quickly where you flow with the story and characters like a river. It’ll become harder to get disappointed, you’ll have more fun, you’ll find fun in …

I scrolled through the images before reading what the fuck was happening with an expression of confusion I didn’t realize I had until I went back until I read the description. And then promptly lost my shit when the context clicked in my head for all pictures at once. Then I said a silent prayer to god internet for its grace.

  • The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan Revealed:
I admit I do miss the intelligence inherent in the 2006 designs. While the K-on style does have its place, and definitely did show intelligence behind the girls’ faces in K-on which I attribute to why they were likable, compared to original Haruhi’s smoothly angular designs, this does feel like it lacks the same mystery of the original. That said, I agree with Sasazuka’s assessment, this is not a bad derivative. It, like everything, will take a bit of getting used to considering my nostalgic …
