Probably not impossible. I mean, if they could get some rights from the author’s estate, and preferably a serious amount of author’s notes that could help any continuation look slightly less like a glorified fanfic, it could be doable.

    Are they sure they’d like a sequel? Or would they prefer some of these pull off an FMA Brotherhood or Hellsing Ultimate, having a complete reboot that follows the source material more closely? Yumekui Merry and some others would likely benefit from such a move.

If the guy’s firmly interested in a monogamous relationship with one girl (especially if the series ends with him choosing to be with just her), and his “harem” is a bunch of other girls with one-sided crushes (or not even that, but a large cast of girls that just happen to live in the same home or close vicinity as the guy), then a single pairing seems quite possible.     I think there’s currently one more book left to adapt, but seeing as said book was released four years ago, I’m not sure whether or not the source material is still on-going. Still, whether they finish it off with an OVA or whatever, more Hyouka would be nice.

    for a minute, I was worried this list would have crap like Saito/Louise, but thankfully, it only featured one of the more decent Kugimiya typecast series. Still doesn’t keep the listing from being a load of fail though, especially #14.
