The article says it can be used for official contexts like banking, but a banking seal isn’t as high as a personal registered seal…

Actually, it’s the opposite. Mass-produced ones aren’t unique enough for legal documents, which is why people have them handmade. They don’t do it themselves, largely because not everyone has the skill to carve kanji in mirror image, and also because despite this story, the requirements for a jitsuin are rather stringent (so it’s kind of like taking your own passport photo vs having it done professionally.)

I love this story… In theory, being able to register any image for personal use would allow for such creativity. I’d always thought this kind of thing wouldn’t be allowed though. Wikipedia for instance says of the jitsuin (legal, formal seal): “The size, shape, material, decoration, and lettering style of jitsuin are closely regulated by law. For example, in Hiroshima, a jitsuin is expected to be roughly 1⁄2 to 1 inch (1.3 to 2.5 cm), usually square or (rarely) rectangular but never round, …

Looks like Girls x Battle and all the other games by that company on smartphones – with added H of course. And a bit of reskin, which they don’t always do when they change the name of the game.

Right… so since someone who once proposed an ad for Clinton said something dumb, Clinton is the antichrist here to take our anime away. Vote instead for the most dangerous sociopath to have entered American politics. This site works a lot better without American politics TBH, especially when the level of facepalm induction is that high. This fool speaks for Clinton’s policy points in the same way the most backward Narutard speaks for all of us.

I loved all the Mario Bros games, before they were even “super”, but 64 killed it for me. It was insufferable. 3D platformers are an awful idea. That’s one reason there’s such a return to 2D platformers now. I’ve tried some later Marios like Galaxy too, but… it’s just a chore.

That’s why I didn’t get a WiiU and sadly can’t play Splatoon… They dropped the Wii so fast and hard it was still on shelves (they’d just launched a refresh!) when they killed all the online features. I mean, if its shelf life turns it into such a rental, then just lend me the hardware for free or fee and I’ll pay to use the software. I’m not buying it outright for a quick fling.
