In this case likely a typo. The original author isn't the best when it comes to English grammar, but he is capable of not misspelling basic words.

Basically Asuna is locked into this new one and never woke up from SAO, so Kirito goes back in to save his waifu.
Which was the most lazy, lamest kind of asspull the author could have come up with.
Still, I like the late autumn atmosphere that is pulled off rather well in this arc. The anime is capturing it nicely too.
