Because if you watch animations like ReC, or already listen to any akibapop, this type of voice is pretty normal.
The problem of this show is because is way too slow the events, but you can't deduce an animation in 2 episodes, example like yami to boushi to hon no tabibito.

I adored the Little Busters! vn, but there was a reason why I skipped through most of Komari's route. That fucking voice and typical kawaiiuguucandy&sweets! character to the extreme. It was kind of hard to watch this episode. Can't wait for Kurugaya and Kud.
I don't think I can suffer through her no matter much better later characters may happen to be. She is even worse than K-On's idiot Yui, and no amount of Tsumugi/Mio equivalents are likely to salvage the series for me.
I won't be able to play the VN but for the 1st two episodes it seems very slow.. a bit boring.

Well um, I like that they're pushing Rin and Komari's friendship a bit harder then it was in the visual novel. Though she describes Rin as her best friend in Refrain it didn't really come off that way in the main story.
Other then that, actually like the designs they used for Masato and Kengo. They no longer look to be the size of a small house.
