The difference with spike is the guy that made it hasn’t said for definite that spike is actually dead, he left it to peoples imaginations.

Heck Lelouch is the same, the debate whether he’s dead or alive is left to the viewers imagination with the last scene with the carriage driver.

  To be honest, I so predicted Light getting killed. He was a JERK. Unlike Lelouch, who was compassionate and many wished he didn’t die, Light was a jerk who died in the most possible pathetic death possible for an anime main character. It was a thing of poetry for him to get killed like that, even more promising to know that he was killed by Ryuk as he was the one who had start it all and end it all.

  I had never heard of Trigun before, and saw the Nicholas D. Wolfwood episode on April Fool’s Day when Adult Swim did Toonami. That one episode made me almost cry when I barely knew him, and got me to order the full series and I have a Wolfwood cross necklace now. He was a pure boss.
