I find this totally idiotic.

If someone on the road drives drunk, and crashes into another person and kills the, does that mean everyone else must stop driving?

Of course not! But this is the growing mentality that both the U.S. and now even Japan are having towards Otaku’s who have nothing to do with the heinous crime this guy attempted to commit. So this idiot had some anime DVD’s and it’s being used as a scape-goat and excuse to censor more and ban anime/manga media all-together.

Paint them all black and throw away the key. So that must mean the women at CLAMP are criminals too since they create material like CHOBITS.

Obvious this trashcan has some deranged problems, and decided he wanted to take out his problems on another human being and admitted to it being so called “stress” of things not going well in life. It’s called the “snapping or boiling point” pretty much like how some gunner guy decided to fire on people in a movie-theater in NA, or how people with money suddenly decide to shop-lift from “Stress”.

Does that mean guns should be banned, video-games with guns banned, and movies banned?

No. Same with anime/manga.
