Average people, average journalists of mass media, and especially average psychologists aren’t too intelligent and to feel themselves safe in their everyday life, they need to find concrete and specific reasons for people going awry, reasons average people can understand. They wouldn’t be able to bear living in a world where someone could perform a crime or some other heinous act unless it was a direct reason of the person’s suspicious past, hobbies, and preferably unwholesome childhood.

That’s how simple people cope with anything bad in the world. It can’t be helped.

  Let’s just say that without Morgiana Magi wouldn’t be on the list at all. In fact, without Morgiana Magi wouldn’t have been animated in the first place. Just like the article illustration indicates. There’s really very little else to know about Magi. A strange list anyway, like usual.

• KyoAni Really Announces That Anime: “Free!”:
  

  I have made a habit of forcing myself to watch the KyoAni show of the season for a tradition’s sake if not for anything else, even when the theme and setting of the show didn’t particularly interest me, but now with this show there will be a gap a season long. But the only thing making me sad is that it wasn’t FMP… I don’t particularly care if KyoAni tries to cater to fujoshi once in a while. Anime is business, after all.

• Top 25 Moe Anime Heroines of Spring 2013:
  

  Railgun certainly should serve Type B well enough. Besides, lots of Type A shows have moe character designs these days. You lose nothing by making characters cute’n'cool even if you have a solid story as well. I like well written stories that keep surprising me, but add cute characters to that and it’s perfect.

• Top 10 Most Anticipated Anime of Spring 2013:
  

  Although I’m not usually a homicidal maniac, I wanted to kill somebody after watching Oreimo 2′s first episode. Fortunately Kirino is fictional, so I can’t kill her and become a murderer. Railgun S is my most anticipated show (because I’m a Mikoto fan), closely followed by Shingeki no Kyojin. I’m also looking forward to more Nyaruko.
