I’d like to know what he thought was odd. Lots of people have heavy bags. Speaking of, how weighty can a 12-year-old Japanese girl be? Did he decline the taxi driver’s help so earnestly?

Nope, I watch the 1st episode of every new anime and I do a little reading on each. Don’t hate me because I have good taste, bro… Most anime’s are for little teen girls, slice of life crap or fan service for perverts. I pretty much avoid all that crap.

@21:54 The point is that it used to be much better than it is nowadays. As for the culture. If you’ve been there and not just stayed in Tokyo, you’re bound to get a fairly good grasp of that but it’s a receding culture in all fairness. Same for the landscape etc. A huge chunk of said landscape isn’t even safe to travel in any more. Cue Fukushima.
