Seems like they totally forgot about Hellsing. You know, that anime with the british protestants and the vatican and the whole “servants of god eliminating foul creatures” thing. …the line “Jesus Christ is in Heaven now” alone makes Hellsing the no.1 on any such list, if you ask me.
