Comment on Minami-ke Omatase Feeling Quite Good by Sasazuka:

The background music from the trailer basically sounds like a remix of the instrumentals from “Keikenchi Soku Jōjō↑↑” (経験値速上々↑↑), the MINAMI-KE OKAERI (3rd season) theme. I presume it’s just for promo purposes and the actual OAD and/or 4th season theme won’t just be a remix of the third season theme.

  • Minami-ke Omatase Feeling Quite Good:
The first season, from ICHIGO MASHIMARO studio Daume, is still the greatest, but the third season was a major improvement over the second. The “Curry Fairy” scene was pretty much on par with the best of the first seasonl The biggest problem with the third season was the ridiculously obvious art quality gap between studio Asread’s impeccable A team and their B team, which resembled hastily-drawn fan art.

My god, I’ll finally be able to watch television and movies on my television with the XBOX ONE! Apparently, my cable connection and BluRay player weren’t doing a sufficient job, I guess? Eh, I don’t need integration or social media, I just want to play physical media games offline with slightly better graphics and improved AI compared to the previous XBOX. Everything else is just useless fluff.

The poster designer probably doesn’t realize that, in the United States, the first weekend of September is kind of a dumping ground for movies that turned out bad (only second to January).

Also, beyond the implied penises, I’m gonna have to get used to the concept of KyoAni characters with noses that aren’t just tiny dots. I mean, these aren’t pointy ESCAFLOWNE schnozes, but, still, they’re bigger noses than I’m used to from the studio.

  • KyoAni Really Announces That Anime: “Free!”:
I’m a male K-ON! fan who was hoping they’d make this anime, so I’m pleased to see it come about. However, somehow the faces look a bit less moé compared to the ones in the initial commercial, except for the “shota”, Nagisa.
