Buddhism and Jainism both originated from what might be called ancient Jainism. It has basically no roots in Hinduism, which stems from Brahmahnism. There are two major groups of Indiand religions: Dharmic (Buddhism etc.) and otherwise (Hinduism etc.). What kind of drug are YOU on?

Well, that is because America is kinda big. Where would you hold the celebration for athletes from all over the country? Most of their athletes come from in or around Seoul and Tokyo, ours come from New York, California, Texas, Florida and so on and so forth, all of which have huge cities. It's just easier to celebrate them if they're local (which my region had a parade for local gold medalists) than it is to hold a national one.

Y SO SERIOUS. But while you're at it then: I'll simply point out that for much of recorded history, the Chinese empire's widespread influence meant Korea and Japan were effectively dwarved. Of course they had local versions of similar culture. In more recent history, Korea was a flippin' COLONY of Japan. Japan enacted policies that would make them more suitable subordinates: ie. more like themselves. If in that time Korea picked up some Japanese characteristics, guess what? Japan forced and encouraged it. Those are just part of the examples. Seriously, the whole idea of accusing someone of "copying" is pretty silly. Taking someone else's work and knowledge, building upon or modifying it, is pretty much the only reason humans progressed past the stone age.

Korean music is more global and notorious than japanese music. Korean entertainment is taking over these days to the point that japanese actually do copy the Kpop style of music. To the point it ranks Top 5 and even 1 on japanese charts. Japanese music don't rank anything in Korean music charts. What does that tell you? Also japanese fake artist copy Korean music and claim it as theirs. And make a hit in japan cause of it, DJ Ozma being one.
