Yet another hikikomori has stabbed to death his mother, in this case “for not being kind enough” after he resolved to stop being a hermit.
The 16-year-old unemployed Sendai prefecture boy attacked his 43-year-old mother at 2AM in their family home, stabbing her over 10 times, causing her to bleed to death soon after.
The boy was living together with his mother and her parents, and disappeared shortly after the killing only to reappear a day later at a convenience store 3km away, still bloody from the deed, where he asked staff to call police to pick him up.
Fearing discovery by his grandparents, he had been attempting to flee on foot without being seen only to end up hiding on top of a supermarket, apparently having rapidly discovered how difficult maintaining total seclusion was without a submissive parent to dote on him.
As well as being a NEET he also seems to have been a RHINO:
“I haven’t been to school since I enrolled at middle school. It got so I couldn’t even leave the house to go shopping, but despite my wanting to break out of this my mother wouldn’t look after me kindly and we got into arguments.
After watching the news we got into an argument about things and I stabbed her.”
Police think he was bitter about what he thought was a lack of concern for his efforts to cease being a recluse.
He has been arrested and charged with murder.

To think that Rhinos could do such horrible things to each other. I guess that Humans aren't the only species that kill each other.
It's the NHK I tell you ~ the NHK!!!
IMBOU DA!!!
16 year old kid was dumped by Misaki.
Hence this...
"16-year-old unemployed"
Well no fucking shit he's unemployed!
Damn man, Japan's harsh. They're expecting 16 year olds to have full-time jobs!
Well, High School is not mandatory. So as a 16 year old, if you are not enrolled in school, yea. I'm sure people expect you to have some kind of job.
Over here, it is against the law to have job below 18.
takemaru what about students that want to work do you have that. Some people need that to pay their education
Despite having unemployment with nearly the same percentage as the USA.
I guess they just expect NEETs to stop being NEETs. Who doesn't?
Yup, he isn't even 18y. I bet her mother was a fucking bitch who screamed at him everyday.
He's 16, for fuck's sake! Being a NEET at that age is perfectly normal.
Actually, given today's society conditions, even being a NEET at the age of 26 could be considered as normal.
Being a NEET at 16 is not normal.
Not in EDUCATION, Employment, or Training.
Aka, high school, which most normal 16-year-olds are enrolled in.
@ Anon 17:45
I'm pretty sure that in Japan it's normal for 16 year olds to attend school, even with high school being optional.
If you're not going to school, you should be employed at 16. I find it strange that so many are shocked at the idea of having a job when you are 16. At 16 I was going to school and worked at least 20 hours a week. Have to pay for gas and insurance somehow. It wasn't like I was alone either, all of my friends had part-time jobs as well.
Truth be told.
18:51 21/08/2012 and he was a fucking dick doing nothing all day .
FUCK OFF GET LIFES. IF YOUR A NEET AT SIXTEEN YOU WILL PROBABLY REMAIN AT NEET.
AND TYPICAL JAPAN, SONS' KILLING THEIR MUMS'.
SORRY FOR CAPS*
NOT GONNA RE-TYPE EVERYTHING AGAIN.
Yeah.
Up next:
12-year old unemployed
11-year old unemployed
10-year old unemployed
The list goes on. How dare they not having a well-paid job by the age of 3.
We have to come up with a name for our child whenever he/she comes.
Shinji if it's a boy and Rei if it's a girl, also what job she will get once we leave the hospital.
I'm guessing that was the thought process for all the gymnast's parents around the world. xD
if he doesn't go to school, he should just get a part-time job atleast, its has simple has that, thats why they put the "16-year-old unemployed".
even though being a NEET is considered normal till 20 something, ppl should have the ability to judge by themselves of their own situation, this kid was obviously fuked up on his head.
Here in the Europe We can work from 16 or go to College. Its just the US Government wants to babysit so many teens.
Despite most of them having a lack of understanding for the simplest things.
In this case (I.E. Your Post) other country's work ethics which has been discussed through many classes.
Er, I'm perfectly happy not having had to work until I was 23, and not working before 21.
But I was in education up until these ages. I left my room everyday to go to class.
Actually, high school isn't mandatory in the U.S. either. However, you will most likely spend your life working fast food restaurants and other unskilled common laborer jobs the rest of your life. With a high school diploma, you can at least join the military if nothing else.
Granted, this doesn't apply for all of us Americans. My first job was when I was 12 and I've worked ever since to help support my family.
The Japanese government should put a bunch of hikikomori in the Senkaku Islands and if anyone comes to kick them out the hikikomori army will just stab everyone. The islands will remain Japanese forever.
they would end up killing each other like battle royal because they would want the island to themselves.
Sounds like the plot for a new Highlander movie.
Quick! Call a producer! That actually sounds like a pretty kickass show!
I wonder what rip offs it will inspire. Battle Royal had, to my knowledge, the hunger games and condemned. Here is my contribution to this idea. Give them houses that turn into mechs. Each player will have to run to a store house that contains various snacks, drinks, blankets, kittens, Jews, body pillows, anime DVDs, manga, laptops, and last but now least, figures. After filling their backpacks, I forgot to mention they have backpacks to put this stuff in, they will have to run to a line of houses, ranging from apartments to mid-sizes houses, get inside and take control of the house. From there there will be a small break to flee and organize. Those who did not get their supplies gathered and houses found before the time limit is up, forgot about the time limit as well, will be executed by soldiers dressed up in various cosplay outfits. After the games begin and there is a fight and a kill, since the house/mechs come with weapons depending on the kind of house, apartments will be stealthy assassin types while large houses will have more weapons but less maneuverability, the winner will receive the contents of the loser's house. This will continue until there is either one hikikomori left or the remainders decide to split up the island into sectors in which they will reside. After it is all over the winner, or winners, will be shipped their respective living necessities once a month so they can live out their lives in peace. Should conflict arise I am open to starting a second season. Oh and there would be internet for them as well.
Fuck that was long.
No, I think they'd starve first... Unless they resort to cannibalism.
they would die from having no internet before starvation.
@08:56 Hah! Reminds me of those StarCraft players in SK.
Nah, you have to make a room there with internet included AND give them a steady stream of food/ water. THEN they'll kill anyone who'll try to take them away from the island. >.>
well fuck, send me there also...Il gladly kill anyone who attempt's to take my paradise.
And rename it Hikikomori Island, the island of misfit children.
No WAY you'll get them to leave their room!
:P
What is RHINO?
I guess he's horny?
I smiled.
i guess you're corny?
YES WHAT IS A RHINO?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhinoceros
Well, I wouldn't let him out either.
now i am more confused
@9:18
So what you're saying is he had an itasha rhinoceros
Well, it all makes sense now...
A hikikomori rhinoceros, who didn't go to middle school, was watching the news with his mother, stabbed her with his horn, flees "on foot" and hides on top of a supermarket and then is arrested and charged with murder.
Maybe he had a sweet-ass Rhino in his closet, with a crisp paint job.
A miserable pile of secrets?!
But enough talk. Have at you!
ppl still remember lines from that epic game
