Americans loved it, but it was expensive as hell.

Again, wasn’t made aware of the disk release.
You can blame most of this on the companies that have the rights to them not doing anything about it. Like how Viacom won’t release Hey Arnold! and Doug on DVD despite them being what held Nickelodeon viewership together for so long.
