Considering the amount of work that’s gone into the revision of the game from 1.x to 2.0 they can’t afford to fail.

It won’t be a behemoth (wow is a freak of creation) but it will still have a niche like FFXI craved out for itself.

Personally visuals aren’t the thing it has going for it, it’s a big plus the new engine but it’s everything else going into the game that people want.

New interfaces for both K&M and Gamepad, user mods, character control changes, client upgrades, server upgrades, new battle system changes, numerous primal fights, more dungeons, way more NMs battles, a proper quest system, mail system, auction system, better character creation, player housing, guild housing, proper guilds (not just chat channels) with free companies…

Shit I could go on about the game changes, heck crystal tower, golden saucer and magitek armor are great things to look forward to in the future.

Yoshi taking over is a blessing, he really went the mile with that 300+ team he has working on it.

Holy shit, has Sankaku been invaded by Squenix advertising reps? as everyone already forgotten how bad this game was? It always looked great, the fact that they are spending money making it ‘look’ better is already a huge warning flag.
