Why take risks with a new sequel with new characters that has no guarantee will carry over the popularity of the previous?
I mean, if they can milk the title for over 8 years already, why stop now? lol

@Anon 20:05 Yeah, it’s true lol. Anon15:46 asked how, so the plausible way is by redoing the same thing when they decided to stop milking To Heart. To Heart 2 managed to outshine To Heart and that was a strong title with memorable characters like Akari and Multi. Well, they’re already making a sequel for both Utawarerumono and Tears to Tiara, so they’ll eventually make a to heart 3. lol

The real question is when will they stop milking To Heart 2. Seriously, I see no other eroge being ported, remade and merchandized as much as To Heart 2. Weirdly enough, Tamaki was NOT the main girl either. I mean, she is one of the major routes available, but she certainly was never the poster girl for To Heart 2 in the beginning.
