From what i understand, the reception for akb0048 was actually pretty good

It's a so wonderful anime that I expected to see the next episode every week.

The story is fascinating, the plot is good, and the fight scene is great!

Who damn it elected the anime in the list

You might as well watch a Drama.

I knew I should have not bothered with these kinds of list.

Eureka Seven felt fresh and original throughout most of the series, while AO tends to rely too heavily on anime clichés. It feels like an Evangelion clone much of the time, only without an emo protagonist, tragic occurrences, or much emotion at all. The aerial battles don't compare to those in the original, and feel like much less effort went into them. The same goes for the character designs, writing and music.

Overall, it feels like its geared toward a younger, less discerning crowd. I got the impression that most of the people working on it either weren't involved with production of the original, or weren't all that enthusiastic about doing a sequel. I'm still watching it though, as it can be great at times, but I'm having doubts that it will eventually meet the standards set by the original.
