Ayase does the dirty work there – advocating for the ‘norm’ in a way that would earn her support from within that faction, but is actually easy to dismiss for anyone outside (once they realize this). You don’t know how exactly shrewd she is, but you can be sure you could reason with her eventually.

Saori and Kuroneko showed lots of class for being philosophical about their roles in the very scene.

I actually forgot about that it was so short a mention. They completely cut out the final race in America and any interaction with Ria there though. If they’re going to stretch out the content at all, episode 15 is probably the place to do it.

You’re right, I got confused over something I read or saw a long time ago I guess. I think there was a director or something that saw all kind of film as a type of voyeurism in a sense (so, “technically” was totally the wrong word to use, at least, lol). I had something to do with the entertainment and/or enjoyment (not always sexually, of course) of watching what is essentially other people’s (character’s) private lives in motion without them knowing.
