Amazing how most Japanese worry about how the rest of the world sees them, yet they’re so worried about social hierarchies and status that they prefer to allow snotty kids with rich parents to step on everyone else, like they’re untouchable gods, instead of showing the little shits what happens if they break their society’s laws, and show them how to become respectable people. Or allow them to continue on to become successful, but hateful bigots, like Ishihara, who is now hated by everyone mildly aware of him, inside and outside of Japan.

Or alternatively, the police refuses to act upon real crimes because the criminals are too young. Why? Because they’re more worried about getting a promotion than doing their job? Shouldn’t ignoring a crime have the opposite effect on their career?

Then, we have those who are old enough to be arrested, and who are arrested simply for walking down the same street as a schoolgirl in Osaka, or asking for directions. You’d think that this sort of draconian “crime prevention” methods was only found in dictatorships.

And what does the general population do about all this?
Nothing.
The way they treat those richer or with a higher “social status” is only ruining their country, keeping their suicide rates high, and creating more criminals for the next generation for not showing kids the consequences of their actions.

I’m sorry, Japan, but you’re quickly becoming worse than even China or Korea.
