  I had a cat before. That bastard tore opened up my couches, bed, and other stuff even though I got him a scratching post. Even though cats clean themselves, they still contract a lot of dirt and oil on their fur, so they need to be bathed once in a while. Dogs, at least give them the daily walks/exercise and the occasional shower and they’re fine. The only thing cats are better than dogs is that they help kill all the bugs that get into my house with amazing skills.
