  This isn’t a Japan-Only fail, I come from Australia and was bullied incessantly because I was Italian; and in response the vice principal of the school told me that they couldn’t do anything about the bullying, BUT, if I hit the bullies in self-defense they’d expel me for fighting. It didn’t get any better when the police got involved, as they said they could only do something if they caught the bullies in the act… …Pathetic.
