@21:54 – Wow, first you start off with the correct term “Islam fanatic (even though it’s Islamic fanatics)” and then you decide that it wasn’t good enough so you decide to switch it for a generalization.

So I feel I must correct you. What you actually meant to say is that “Islamic fanatics are a cancer that need to be wiped off the face of this planet!” The religion is fine, its merely the fanatics that twist the religious doctrine to suit their own personal goals, needs and/or wants.

Fanatics exist in any religion. From Christianity to Judaism. So the fanatics are the real issue, not the actual religions themselves. A lot of people need something to believe in that will give them hope, and guide them through their lives. That is what religion is for. Even if a lot of people don’t believe in religion because there’s no scientific basis for the deity the people decide to worship, the whole point of religion is to give people something to hope for and guidance. Not every person needs a deity to keep them on the straight and narrow, but a large number of people do. As long as it keeps them on the straight and narrow, religion does bring value to the table. So again religion itself is not the problem, it’s the religious fanatics.

PS: Yes I’m a religious person. But personally I have a balanced outlook on life. Meaning I seek wisdom and guidance from both religion and science.
