So an admittedly great CG movie trailer is supposed to get me to buy and play a game who’s biggest flaw was the actual gameplay…how, exactly?

These kind of CG cut-scenes and openings have always been a Square strength. They’re good at them. Show me the money… or rather, show me the gameplay!

  The fuck? You haven’t been paying attention, have you. The entire “To Aru” series, both “Index” and “Railgun” are actually rather dark. They just have a facade of lightheartedness. The first season of “Railgun” seemed lighter simply because things didn’t start to snowball until Touma meets Index.
