You can say what you want, but there's no doubt Kishimoto is one talented bastard, having created such a world. And Naruto's setting and main premise is pretty good. It's realization in the later chapters is what suffers

Doubtful. When Naruto finishes, his publishers will contact him for another 'best seller.' Something that appeals to a demographic that sells well, and perhaps not something he enjoys writing. Often, that's what happens; it sells well, publishers want him to keep making it so they get more money, cyclical happenings ensue. I do hope he eventually gets some time off to do his own thing whenever he feels most passionate about it, though, so he doesn't keep making dispassionate work time and time again.

The difference is in the quality. Pokemon games are of high quality whereas Naruto is a two-bit kids' manga that makes no sense and has no real passion behind it.
