Is it me, or do newsposts on Sankaku have more and more spelling errors lately?
“…a certain studio has ceased the victor’s laurels…”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m fairly sure the author of this newspost meant to say “seized.” And it’s not the first time such errors pop up.
Maybe it is time to proof-read a bit more before posting a newspost. :/

Seems legit. Let’s hope the site doesn’t explode. ;)

- Chinese Mobs “Mistakenly Burn Down” Samsung Factory:
There are plenty of Chinese with common sense, really. I know enough of them to be aware of that. In the end, most of the trouble is caused by a relatively small group of idiots. Since it’s China, “relatively small group” still means “rather a lot of people,” but still. I’m fairly sure the majority dislikes the whole “Senkaku islands being bought by Japan” thing, but disliking something doesn’t automatically into a raging, violent and (self-)destructive idiot. Or at least, I hope it doesn’t. …
- Chinese Hate for Japan Burns at Fever Pitch:
The thing is, Japan is pretty dependent on other countries for resources. Not to mention that it’d further strengthen Chinese presence in the East China Sea. This would make it easier for China to disrupt trade routes in the case of (another) serious dispute. Another problem is that if Japan gives the islands, they’ll be seen as “weak” and lose face, not save face. And some countries – especially China – will push to get the best out of it. Not to mention that there’s the risk that they claim …
- Chinese Attacks on Japanese Mount:
Well, at least the Chinese government gets to distract people from the internal issues the country faces. The question – as always – is just how large the bunch of idiots is. I mean, I’m sure a majority is outraged by the whole situation. Being told for all your life that a certain area is a part of your country’s territory and that it is now being bought (stolen) by the former coloniser/imperial aggressor is hardly going to induce celebrations. That said, I’m fairly sure that the actual …
- “4 Fashion Failings That Will Keep You Single For Life”:
Number 1 and 3 are reasonable enough, though I seriously doubt ANYBODY is going to go to a marriage interview or a party with a pouch around his waist. Number 2 is debatable. If we’re talking about people trying too hard to look as if they’re something which they’re not (not having their own style), I guess I can agree with it though. I don’t see the problem with Uniqlo however. They sell some high quality stuff which is very affordable, without actually coming across as cheap. If I needed …
- Ita-G Festa 5: Behold The Ita-Tractor:
Oh wow, I recognise the drawing in the second photo, on the tractor. It was sold printed on a T-shirt back at a Touhou convention in Nagasaki. I didn’t buy that particular T-shirt (I bought the other one), but I do have a poster containing both of them (the exact shirt designs) having on my door. It is – excluding some very minor details, like colouring – almost entirely similar. Kind of bizarre seeing it again. Interestingly, I have the N.U.T. shirt, which had a different drawing. The drawing …
