Science Fiction indicates the movie/anime/game/etc. as a possibility for realistic although scientifically not yet achievable.
Fantasy is pure fiction and cannot become reality, or at least not with the proper evolution/revolution

The only things I’d even remotely would consider sci-fi would be NGE and Ghost in the Shell: SAC. Then again if you take science fiction litteral I guess little humanoid pupptes jumping around on a circular table while being controlled by emotion and thought are propably more science fiction then the enhanced human.

To be fair, 20:13 didn’t say “adaption”, and I haven’t seen many live action movies from Japan that didn’t have major issues. But yeah, you’re right, our ani-adaptions (animation in general) suck.

Poor Japanese. It’s kind of sad that i even considered their country worthy of a lengthy stay. Nowadays, i wouldn’t even want to spend a lengthy vacation there. Really sad how far they have fallen.
