I'm not sure what you're talking about, because I've had Honda's from around 2000-2011, and they've been in prefect condition ever since. As long as you take care of them, they'll last you generations.

Blame Korea & China for that, til they started muscling in with significantly lower priced goods, reliability was never an issue. Now brands like GE produce the worst pieces of shit imaginable. [Never liked GE anyway.]

That said, I'll only buy major appliances from Samsung & LG. Their shit tends to hold up nicely.
