I don’t mind playing either gender in an MMO, but I never claim to be an irl chick if asked.
That said, I don’t give a damn of what gender the other people in the game are, as long as they don’t do anything immersion braking in a RP environment. I’m looking at you dancing naked elves standing on top of the mailbox.

Some voice changing software is all they need. The low quality VoIP in your typical MMOs is soundly defeated by this technique.
